Brixton Records proudly announces the forthcoming release of The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble's new album. The band is currently hard at work on their 11th album that will be named "Double Edge". This album, according to Rock Steady Freddie Reiter bandleader/lead singer, "is our Masterpiece--devoted to our fans." In addition to NYSJE's all-star lineup, the release features Jamaican singing star JC Lodge on the new hit single "Weak in Love." Other notable guest artists include Andy Bassford on guitar (Toots & the Maytals, Gregory Isaacs), Kim Miller on vocals (Israel Vibration), Larry McDonald on percussion (David Hillyard & RS7, Gil Scott Herron) and Kevin Batchelor on trumpet (the Skatalites). Famed Easy Star Records record producer Michael Goldwasser adds his artistry to the project by mixing 6 of the sizzling tracks!!
