Focused basically in old school ska & rocksteady this album opens its style to the roots rockers dub reggae The cover
its still inspired in the famous "brixton cat" album from the mid 60 and the music would be the result of mixing new
generation of reggae musicians with the old school vibrations.We could say that the main jamaican influences of this
bands goes from the 50 to the 80
Traditional afro- jamaican ska-jazz with the great "Dave Hillyard & the rocksteady 7" from New York, early reggae with
"Proyecto Secreto" from Belgium, rocksteady with "The Starlites" and "The Slackers" from New York, boogaloo-ska with "La
Thorpe Brass" from catalunya , ska soul with "Akatz" from Bilbao, roots rockers with "BDF-Basque Dub Foundation" from
Bilbao-London.
