Put briefly, Leto is a post-Punk band from Hamburg ..signed by a Hamburg punk label. The band's spectrum reaches wide, from unwieldy verses to surprisingly hymnic choruses and now Leto have finished production of their first album in the Nullzweistudios (along with Olman). On August 31, their debut LP titled "Vor die Hunde" will be released on Rookie Records. On their album, Leto deliver twelve German-language songs that pay tribute to bands such as Captain Planet and Muff Potter "with their easy vibe that merges punk attitude with indie-danceability while providing several excursions into more complex territories"(visions.de), thereby delivering some challenging, relentlessly hard hitting tracks. Leto's music will challenge Punk music skeptics due to surprising instrumental complexity, which is owed particularly to Phill's unique guitar skills. The two singers Jannes (guitar) and Paul (Bass) contribute ingenious lyrics while indulging in changing intonations, timbres, and pitches ranging from emo elements to crystal clear vocals; meanwhile, drummer Pasn is an ultra-precise driving force in the background, making sure Leto's performances go like clockwork.
