Post-Punk/Wave. Limited edition of 500 copies in full colour digipak and booklet with all lyrics! VIDEO DIVA were formed in Dicomano, a small town north of Florence (Italy), in 1999. Their absolutely unique blend of 80's influenced new wave, post-punk, electronica and the use of poetical/political lyrics (in Italian) helped them becoming a little institution in the Italian scene! Committed since the beginning to a "no compromise" attitude, they recorded 2 demo-CDs (Diva, 1999 and Video, 2002) before starting their official discography history with the inclusion of 3 tracks in the epic five CD-compilation United Forces of Phoenix Vol.2 (Nomadism Records, 2007). They then released 2 more self-produced EPs (Inetticho, 2009 and Nuvistasi, 2012) before finally signing with the Swiss Dark Nights label in 2016. With Swiss Dark Nights Video Diva released a limited edition live-cd in 2016 and now finally a new, regular studio full-length album: (s)àcrata! Video Diva look back on a good live experience, playing a lot in their local area and around Italy during these years, sharing the stage with important Italian bands like Gang, Diaframma, Ordeal by Fire and Marnero among others.
