In 2022, Greg Izor came to the Netherlands for some shows. While he was here, we invited him to the Vuurland Studio to record some songs of his and ours, just for fun. It turned out the combination of songs was fit for the record you now have in your hands. Not only was it the first time we played with Greg, it was also the first time we played with Peter ten Wolde, who fit in very easily. The songs were cut in a few days, only rehearsed just before recording and played live as much as possible. Ernst Grevink and Greg later mixed the songs and Ernst did the mastering. It was fun and Greg taught us a great deal about playing and recording. He also was our vocal coach, helped us with making musical arrangements for our songs and made suggestions for the lyrics. But we think we also all helped each other. It felt like being in a band and we were lucky to play live with him after the recordings were done.
