nowhere" fuse of ancient shamanistic Siberian folk with modern contemporary traditions. Amazing combination of electric
& acoustic music with a tribal beats and unusual selection of ethnic instruments (ocarina, darabuka, vargan, djemde)
from all over the world. "Petroglyphs" contains the most trippy hits the band ever recorded and include some tracks

fold out digipack. Whatever the category, Ole Lukkoye play music that is captivating and exotic, incorporating hybrid
sounds from Russia, Siberia and East Asia. Aside from the Russian vocals, the band uses mesmerizing shamanistic and
Siberian vocal styles. The music on Petroglyphs is very ritualistic and ethno cross culture world beat sound that
contains space, folk, eastern, jungle and ambient, Shaman, and even electronic tribal in the vein of Jon Hassell. Among
the eleven musicians, they play over twenty instruments, so the abundance of textures and varied sound is there.
