Already the first announcements of forthcoming eleventh longplayer of Nocte Obducta ensured excitement on every imaginable scene platforms. The Germans are a kind of forerunner of a scene and polarized, not least through their musical unpredictability and experimentation its annexes shaft. With "Mogontiacum (Nachdem die Nacht herabgesunken.)" is the long awaited work now ready and should thereby also so many "old" fan of the sextet listen attentively. Recently the band had already announced again to increase extreme metal sound in their new work. Now the band goes so far as to call the album after over 10 years as "musical liberation" Conceptually, the new album is based on material which i.a. was planned as the successor of "Nektar", but went down in the confusion of the subsequent band history. On the new Nocte Obducta combine the old Trade Marks, which the band owes its special position, with the experimentation of recent years. This is an album that stands out clearly through its analog charm from the mass of unit productions and both old, as to inspire new fans do.
