Mutharoad keeps the 90s metal flame alive !!!! At the end of 2018, singer a.h. Son, who was the lead singer of Universe for a couple of years (a well known 90s German Hardrock band), met up with Peter Dirkschneider (brother of U.D.O. Dirkschneider) in his Studio and startet their first songwriting process with several guitar players. It went very well and the first tracks of old school 90s metal were on tape. At that time Peter suffered a personal loss, which resulted in a longer break. In the midst of 2019 a.h. Son met Andreas Rippelmeier who played the guitar for Jaded Heart and Michael Bormann. The chemistry was right so that many songs where written and recorded swiftly at the Roxx Studio in Germany with producer Stefan Kaufmann. And with that the band Mutharoad was born. On the drums Mr.Hans Heringer (formerly in Universe ) and on Bassguitar Mr. Falo Faltu (formerly in Universe ). Falo who also is an excellent guitarist, played several parts on the record as well. At the beginning of 2020 Corona ruled the world and brought all projects to a standstill. Mutharoad decided to hit the studio again. This time at Marco Grasshoffs studio. Marco was a lucky strike for the band and gave them the sound they were looking for. After all that time its finally done - Midnight Stalker sees the light of day and keeps the 90s metal flame alive!!!
