A photographer turned paparazzi is caught in the downward spiral of a fabricated tabloid story. David Pillard, a once-talented photographer is a shadow of his former self. Now a paparazzo, David is hired by the popular tabloid called The Morning to acquire pictures of Robert Barker, a famous actor. However, when he discovers the story he is chasing was fabricated from the start, David realizes the story he should be seeking was his own.
