On her third album the quintet BASSA presents modern tango in all its facets: virtuosity, elegante, passionate and simply irresistible. Since their beginning in 2005, BASSA played countless concerts in europe. The band managed to put out two exellent albums in the last years and both ,Berlin Tango" (2009) and the subsequent ,Media Luna" (2010) developed since then to real evergreens. ,Tempo: Pasin" raises the bar a little higher now: visually and technically much more improved than the predecessor and full of fresh ideas. The traditions of the tango will be maintained and continued in the same time with modern rhythms and themes. Jazz, Chamber music and hints of World music styles from Latin America and Klezmer set this release to a high level.
