The Wipers are often referred to as Portlands first punk band. But calling the band punk totally ignores and
underestimates what Greg Sage and crew were doing from 1979 onward. Acknowledged by many over the years (including
Nirvanas Kurt Cobain who curated a tribute album to the Wipers), the bands albums have been curiously unobtainable by
many. The Wipers Box Set collects the first three albums (and a few obscurities) at a more-than-reasonable price for a
51 song 3 CD Set.
