Dan Wilson is a singer/songwriter based in Liverpool with his band The Counterfactuals. His debut album "All Love is Blind" was released in 2015 and the title track was singled out as one of the iTunes "hot tracks" for a number of weeks. The album received great reviews internationally and he played European festivals and shows alongside Bob Dylan, Mark Lanegan and Jim Jones, to name a few. A prolific composer, Dan has written music for the short film "Swimming Man" (2012) and the play "Tony Teardrop" at St Lukes Church, Liverpool (2013), and is often seen collaborating with various musicians on eclectic projects. His band, The Counterfactuals, has a suitably battle hardened line-up: Rense Slings (Automatic Sam) Simon James (The Cubical, Wizards of Twiddly, Kevin Ayers, Gorkis, Super Furry Animals) Andy Frizell (Wizards of Twiddly, Muffin Men, Kevin Ayers, Gorkis, Super Furry Animals) and Siofra Ward (Liverpool Mozart Orchestra) and Simon Montague. After their praised LP with which they premiered in 2016, they give us a kick in the mouth with this ep, delving into the same sounds punkrock- garage or as they call it "tank-rock", but with better sound and best compositions, including a delicious theme close to pop tribute to one of his idols, Billy Miller, capo of one of the best labels in history, Norton records, and singer of the A-Bones or Zantees, some of his biggest influences.
