While most people associate the blues with the steamy bayous of Louisiana and the cotton fields of Mississippi, it may
be surprising to hear that there is also a thriving blues scene in Scandinavia. At the heart of this Nordic blues
explosion are 1986 founded Wentus Blues Band.
Wentus Blues Band has acquired a reputation as a steaming hot live act with laid back stylishness playing around 150
gigs a year. They have toured in nearly 20 countries, released 10 albums, done several TV-shows, headlined festivals and
toured with many great bluesmen. Their collaboration with top names of the blues world like Kim Wilson, Mick Taylor,
Barrence Whitfield, Lazy Lester and Omar Dykes - just to name a few.
Agriculture from 2007 is the sevent album of Wentus Blues Band.
