VOBISCUM was formed in May 1997 in lower Austria. After the loss of some members the remaining four man band released their first Album "Traum ewiger Finsternis" at the end of 1998. Only Count Grimthorn, the last founding member, decided to go on with the band. Count Grimthorn has known the guitarist Morturom from some other projects and after the Count had written some new material he invited Morturom in 2005 to join Vobiscum. The heart of nowadays Vobiscum is somewhere between upper Austria, lower Austria and Vienna, the roots and future of the band is True Austrian Black Metal!
