Velodrône is the continuing project of the Swedish world jazz group that up till now had the name H3FK. With the release of their new album "The Beenhouse session", the seven piece band has reformed and renamed. New on clarinet and sax is Fredrik Ljungkvist also heard in worldwide touring Swedish/Norwegian jazz group Atomic. The music is a blend of Ethnic influences from east to west, north to south, all in a jazz context with the oud (arabic lute) and violin together with a wide range of percussion making the oriental as well as the Nordic atmosphere at all time be present. Turkish songs, Nordic folk melodies and Moroccan rhythms - Velodrône brings flesh and blood to the world of jazz.
