The next episode on the KOKO MOJO sublabel: RHYTHM BOMB presents the 24th part of the "Southern Bred" series with
Southern artists and songs of rhythm'n'blues - the series continues with songs and artists from Tennessee and Arkansas.
The first five "Southern Bred" episodes were dedicated to the thriving scene of Southern blues with "Mississippi R&B
Rockers". Episodes six to twelve then gathered Texas blues. From the 13th to the 20th episode of the series, artists and
songs from Louisiana and New Orleans were heard. Now the series continues with Tennessee and Arkansas, including DEE
CLARK, LUCILLE BARBER, SAM TAYLOR, LOUIS JORDAN, ROSE MARIE MCCOY, LARRY BIRDSONG, MEMPHIS SLIM and many others. The
three-part Digisleeve cover in serial design contains liner notes on the artists and songs, all songs were compiled by
DJ MARK ARMSTRONG and remastered in black SHACK RECORDINGS.
