The music scene in Israel is a very vital and colourful one. Even if the clich still exists: There's not only Klezmer in Israel! Shabbat Night Fever- Groove Sounds from Israel, a new CD with book (german/englisch), provides a unique insight into the alternative music scene in Israel. In the local club scene and on festivals in western Europe you can rareley experience musicians and DJs from Israel with their impressive mixtures of styles. The young Berlin society interkult unterwegs wants to change this fact by their project ILanD this year. They want to build bridges between popular sounds and musicians from Israel and Germany. Fly Fast Concepts and Lieblingslied Records publishes the CD and the book in cooperation with interkult unterwegs.
