Four Bands
FOUR BANDS is a four way split compilation of Philadelphia bands who were actually born and raised in and around
Philadelphia. JIM AND THE DANGERBIRDS is Jim McMonagle from FLAG OF DEMOCRACY writing, playing guitar and singing for
DANGERBIRD. Their session was learned as it was recorded in one night. THEE NOSEBLEEDS are a power trio the likes of
MOTORHEAD or ZZ TOP. Playing hard jams and singing about doing chicks and taking drugs, THEE NOSEBLEEDS are that loud,
hard, straightforward band you mom hates you to listen to. ERODE AND DISAPPEAR are 2/3rds of Philadelphias NORTHERN
LIBERTIES. Their drummer/vocalist Justin Duerr also contributed the cover artwork for the compilation and is the subject
of the Sundance award winning film RESURRECT DEAD. CIRCLE THE CITY is a four piece post rock outfit. Members are also in
ALISON RANGER and BELGRADE. Their tracks were recorded live at a party at Red Planet Recording.
