Guitarist and composer Thierry Vaillot produces music that is stunningly rich, conjugating Iberian rhythms and Indian ragas with the exhilarating spirit of the Balkans. Together with violinist HEloïse Lefevre and accordionist Crestiano Toucas, Thierry Vaillot and his Trio Elbasan reinvent the imaginary folk music of the "Total-world" in a genre that follows the wind, filled with rare strength and an expressiveness that is heterogeneous and many-coloured.
