What is real in a world, which is more than any before dedicated to an appearance that later turns out to be an illusion? Who is authentic in his or her life and tries not to curry favour with the expectations of society? In what situations am I myself just the artifact of my situation, my environmental conditioning and have failed to explore what is really in me? The new studio-EP ,Derangement" by central-german hardcore-group ,Today forever" is dedicated to this questions and presents in nine tracks its examination with superficiality and bloated emptiness and the search for values that last longer. And occasionally they simply celebrate RocknRoll and love as a substantial foundation. The five musicians allowed themself four years of time to let the tracks mature in some creative process. The outcome is an album that sounds less ornamented than the earlier work: the songs are straight forward, clearly arranged and get to the point easily. This is even more remarkable as this self-imposed lucidity is in strong contrast to the lyrics where the jungle of everyday life shines through, the colorful drama of life, that occurs a thousand times in every second.
