After their successful selftitled debutalbum the Belgian heavy metal band Thorium returns with their sophomore album
Empires in the Sun. The album is an elaborating on the sound laid down by the ex-Ostrogoth axemen Dario Frodo, Tom Tee
Tas and Stripe. Together with drummer Louis van der Linden and Dutch vocalist David Marcelis (Lord Vulture/Black Knight)
this albums offer another prime example of good ol heavy metal.
One of the highlights of the album is the epos 1302 which features Arjen A. Lucassen (Ayreon), Joe Van Audenhove (Evil
Invaders) & Norman Eshley (Blind Guardian). The album is produced by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Geoff Tate, a.0.)
