"Neverending Story" - if you consider that the quartet around singer and chief graphic artist NOR MAN FLANDERS hasn't released a new album of their own for more than ten years, this is surely due to the numerous other projects as well as adversities like line-up changes and lengthy production processes. Since "The Spirit Of 666" (2009), the cover albums "Graverobbing 2" and "Diggin' Deeper (Graverobbing 2)" were released, followed in 2017 by "The Electro Remixes", another full album, and the DEPECHE MODE cover "Enjoy The Silence" with the sadly deceased cult presenter, musician and actor ACHI M MEN TZEL in the cameo video attracted undreamt-of attention. In 2021 the FLANDERS are back with a new album without much frills, still true to their mixture of psych and punkabilly, new wave and B-movie trash appeal, but unmistakably matured and arrived in a new league in terms of playing joy and virtuosity. Fans of the fringe Berliners will, however, enjoy the usual density of catchy melodies and sing-along refrains as well as NOR MAN's unmistakable voice.
