Georgia-born blind harp-player Saunders Terrell (AKA Sonny Terry) joined forces with Walter "Brownie" McGhee from Tennessee in the early 1940s and their successful partnership has been entertaining fans of real blues ever since. Although they are known for playing traditional blues they are also adept at performing in a more modern style as these recent recordings for Savoy and Groove are testiment.
