Forêts is the second album by Tatanka, a Sioux jazz trio for wild flights. The trumpeter Emmanuelle Legros takes her two
friends to a musical country with uncleared spaces. On long, melodic and clear lines, Guillaume Lavergne rides the piano
while Corentin Quemener's drums panic in great indomitable courts. The voices of the three musicians carry us away like
chimeras, and the small music boxes and other toy instruments bring a breath of freshness to this music by Tatanka,
which means "bull" in the Sioux language.
