Think back to the early 90s and the pop-punk sound coming from the Gilman St. scene in Berkeley, mix that with the dissonant and gritty punk rock that the Midwest has always been known for, then dab a bit of the Go Gos, and the B-52s on top, and youve got some extremely danceable punk rock! The primarily female vocals (three women taking turns singing), sprinkled with unique fits of vocal outbursts from Danny (the drummer), perfectly frame their songs about lost love, drinking, and hard times in the USA.
