One of Los Angeles' best SkaCore bands The South Central Skankers. Definitely one of the hardest working bands in the LA scene today traveling in the US and Mexico to play shows. The band was featured in the new Dale La Bota Compilation. With one album already self-released the band is getting ready to drop its new full length "INSOMNIA" Aug 27th worldwide on Digi Pack CD and Digital Downloads. The South Central Skankers Rise from Lost Angeles.... They show up as a six piece band with unique and upbeat sounds that attract people of all ages and from all walks of life. The Skankers create a sound that cannot be ignored by combining ska, reggae, punk, metal and a latin feel. Their influences vary from underground to highly established bands, many of which were born out of Lost Angeles. The Skankers first joined forces in 2002 and in the fall of 2003, they hit the studio and recorded their first L.P. In 2009 they digitally released their first album titled "Welcome to Lost Angeles"
