digipack CD with booklet Inspired by a US road trip that took Someone (a.k.a. Tessa Rose Jackson) and her partner Darius from New Orleans, through Memphis, to Nashville and all across small-town America, a story started to unfold in Jackson's mind. A story about family tensions, grief, forgiveness and the dark secrets that churn beneath the surface of rural communities. Once home, Jackson spent the next six months writing a screenplay for an indie, arthouse musical called "Owls". The film was even backed by a producing partner, but due to the unsure and multiple-year-spanning nature of the film industry Jackson decided to pause the project indefinitely and allow herself to release the album. But, the story remained. And Jacksons needed a new way to blow life into the surreal scenes that embody these songs in her mind.
