RUDES AGAINST is the third SKASSAPUNKA album, out at the 1st of February in 2017 for the label KOB RECORDS from Verona. After the European Tour WE WANT TO DANCE SKA of 2016 and with new members in the band, RUDES AGAINST is the result of a work started at the end of 2015 and stopped in December of 2016 with the end of recording session at D.G.G.M. Studios in Cesate (Milan). There are many topics covered in the songs, from the fight against neo-fascism (OMBRA NERA) to working class life and dreams (UCCISI DA UN ARCOBALENO, IL PIANTO DELLASINO), hatred of the capitalist system (PAGHERETE CARO), the preservation of environment (NOSTRA), the silly illusion of the web revolutionaries (HASTAG LA VICTORIA), stories of migrants worlds (RINDERMARKT RIOT and AMARA), freedom of choices in love (CONTRONATURA), all this mixed with the desire to change that part of our hearts (BOOM and ECHO) and the notes of our music, since its origins (RUDES AGAINST and FIGLI DI TROJAN) and this is the meeting point, the moment when we feel the need to feel and live against, RUDES AGAINST. The choice of music was to embrace the kind that suggests our name, the SKA-PUNK, still trying to experiment but remaining in the genres that weve always revolved around (2TONE SKA, REGGAE, PUNK ROCK, PUNK, LATIN SKA), this allowed us to discover, from a musical standpoint, our origins and to create the most distinctive sound that we could, thanks to the maturity obtained in the course of time, a sound that feels like our own.
