Peculiar night drive: second album of the Berlin based musician and producer. Composer, sound engineer and gentleman "Sir" Simon Frontzek presents a nocturnal second album. Nighttime music, recorded in his own studio when all other work had been done for the day. Cause after releasing his pop debut "Battle" back in 2008 hes a well sought after producer as well. Simon has this "other" sound", hes got an ear for acoustic music. Tectonic layers are important to him. When you hear his half-acoustic guitar and his melodies in the foreground, theres always something else brewing in the back, the different layers are waiting for their turns, catiously in the beginning, at times quite opulent later on. Stilistically Sir Simons nighttime drive heads south towards Weilheim (Notwist etc.) first, but before getting there he takes another road and visits Kentucky, Oklahoma, Nebraska and finally Portland
