SIGUARAJAZZ has been a musical reference in the city of Medellin since 1999. Its artistic proposal has been based on the Colombian music which is the most important element of its researching and sonority. At the same time, Siguarajazz has developed a production and exploration through Afro-Caribbean music and Salsa brava, establishing itself as one of the most outstanding bands nationality in the music field. Siguarajazz is the perfect combination between tradition and modernity which narrates thorough its music the history of the Medelln's neighborhoods and its most picturesque characters; starting from the routine of a city in constant transformation, to the heritage of the grandparents, the sounds of the street as well as the surrounding rhythms of the Latin music. Creativity, and interpretative strength are a fundamental part of Siguarajazz's process of projection and production, a process that has resulted in five musical productions which attest to their constant evolution and commitment to Latin American musical culture, creating new benchmarks and influencing directly on the cultural identity.
