Keep the Babies Warm is the new album from the Service Industry and follows quickly on the heels of their February 2008 release Limited Coverage, arguably the finest piece of Bolshevik Psychedelia this country has ever produced. The Service Industry was formed in 2006 and includes current and former members of the Wannabes, Cher U.K., the Rockland Eagles, Dumptruck and Spoon. The bands music and arcane ideology are a direct reflection of their collective brushes with fame cast against the unlikely proposition of receiving a fair wage for doing what they love to do the way they want to do it in the Live Music Capitol of the World. The band seeks to convert musical consumers of all stripes as the well-heeled, slick power-pop of this new set niftily conceals the bands philosophical message and slyly indoctrinates new adherents to the cause.
