The Yannic Seddiki Trio is back with a second album: E-life. E-life is about the duality of modern world, on the one hand characterised by hyperconnectivity and on the other hand, by a lack of human solidarity and the respect of traditions. In this new album, Yannic Seddiki reflects on this state of affairs via his music in which internal tensions and contradictions find their fulfilment in the muffled harmonies of the piano supported by sophisticated rhythms. His sound is a melting pot of various styles and traditions, where classical elegance, the freedom of jazz, the exoticism of world music and the nonchalance of urban music all play an integral part in revealing the beauty and harmony of this modern world, hidden behind its paradoxes.
