In the spring of 2014 the Sebastiaan van Bavel Trio will present their debut-album: As The Journey Begins. It goes without saying that with this title the Trio refers to the fact that they show their own work for the first time. This album explains the musical and artistic journey that these three fantastic musicians are undertaking. The album contains eight of van Bavel's compositions. By intelligently linking the eight compositions the listener is compelled to also take this journey. The album marks the beginning of what undoubtedly will be a succesful career for both the trio and the individual musicians.
