The Schneider-Vallet-Schmidlin Organ Trio is a perfect blend of the "Blue Note" spirit of the 50s and 60s up to the more contemporary sounds of the highly respected Larry Goldings, obviously an invigorating source of inspiration here. While the drummer learnt his trade and elegant ease from the greatest: Johnny Griffin, Dexter Gordon, Don Byas, etc... the guitarist and the organist lent their talents to a variety of groups, ranging from singers to Brazilian and Cuban music, followed by numerous groups of their own, such as Claude Schneiders guitar duo or the legendary Piano Seven for Pierre-Luc Vallet who previously released a piano trio CD on TCB (31402).
