'Colours' is the fifth album by Cecilia Sanchietti, an Italian drummer and composer based in Sweden and Italy. The album continues the path begun in the previous work 'Postcard from Gamla Stan' published in 2021 with the Cecilia Sanchietti Swedish Quintet, a formation with which the musician aims to create a blend of Scandinavian and Italian music, between contemporary jazz, pop-jazz, with flashes of world music. The new disc draws and imagines emotions and moods. Each track is a colour, an intimate reflection of one's own experience that does not need words, indeed it is devoid of them and for this reason more real. Music is an opportunity for the listener to mirror himself, an imaginative and identifying opportunity.
