Second album after more than 20 years: Saal 2 bring us west coast harmonies and blue beats
Saal 2 was founded back in 1980 by Jens Kraft and Godeke Ilse. The band recorded their minimalistic and experimental
songs with German lyrics in their rooms at their parents houses and released their first singles on the ZickZack label.
1994 saw the release of their debut album. And now its time for the second shot. Their old sound has been replaced by
west coast harmonies, the A&M sound of the 60ies, blue beats and Steely Dan.
