Welcome to the RVH Project Some bands and musicians came to a complete stand still during the pandemic. But not Rick van Heuzen. This multi instrumentalist and singer could not sit still and was overflowing with musical ideas. To cut a long story short, the RVH Project was born in the summer of 2021. Initially Rick van Heuzen started working on a solo album but when he joined forces with Orion Roos and Gerry de Graaf on guitar and drums things were about to change. Although all the songs were already written by Rick, they developed into new heights during the rehearsals in preparation for the actual recording. In the fall of 2021 they went into the studio and started recording the album Enter the Machine. With session players Hans Voerman on keyboards and Martin Verdonk on percussion and guest appearances of Gerald Vos on keyboards and Stanley Medema on saxophone, it all worked out very well and by the end of January 2022 the album was finished. Although the majority of musicians have their roots in hard rock and heavy metal, the style of the album is a beautiful mixture of rock / pop with influences from the 1980s. A very versatile album that might surprise you. Enter the Machine will be released on 22nd April 2022.
