Bernt Rosengren (born 1937) is considered one of the major voices in European Jazz! He debuted early at the age of 21 he played with the "European Youth Orchestra" at the Newport Festival (with Louis Armstrong as a guest soloist). Bernt has collabrated with Krystof Komeda, Lars Gullin, Doug Raney, Don Cherry, Tomasz Stanko etc and his own various projects and constellations. Bernt has received the "Golden Disc" five times - something that no other Swedish musicians have achieced.
