World-class guitarist LULO REINHARDT dedicates this new release to his recently deceased father BAWO (Founder of I GITANOS). Recorded and produced by GRAMMY-winning musician KLAUS GENUIT (J. ZAWINUL, MACEO PARKER) this album showcases the fi nest of gypsy-swing, fl amenco and latinjazz. LULO REINHARDT started his musical career at an early age, learning his fi rst chords when he was fi ve and accompanying his cousins in the MIKE REINHARDT SEXTET at age 12. Together with his father BAWO he then founded I GITANOS and started his very own band in 2002. As a grandnephew of easily the most famous of all gypsy-musicians, DJANGO REINHARDT, his passion for music stands as the driving force in his life. LULO REINHARDT is already well-known for his outstanding technique and playfully elegant style of playing guitar. His new album "Bawo" not only displays LULOs love and respect for his father but impressively merges gypsy-swing, tango, arabian rhythms and elements of moroccan gnawa, creating his most versatile musical effort yet.
