The Razorbats (formerly known as The Heat) formed in fall 2012 when former members of European Punk n Roll bands Surferosa, Summon The Crows, Gatecrashers and Sonic Bandits got together one night after a gig and made the decision to start another band that touched more on their personal favorite musical styles. The result was the four Scandinavians locking themselves into a studio on a weekend somewhere in the outskirts of Oslo, barely leaving the premise. The end result was material for their first seven inch release entitled "Reubens Lost Control," which was released physically via their own finances and received some good local press from the Scandinavian sources (as well as nice review by Metal Norge).
