Enigmatic London based Purson, have just recorded one of the coolest albums you are likely to hear in 2013. This hotly-tipped band have been working hard fine-tuning their unique blend of psychedelic, folk and progressive rock music, the result of which is simply stunning and unique. Fronted by glamorous virtuoso musician Rosie Cunningham, there is no one doing what Purson are doing and they are a breath of fresh air in a generally repetitive rock scene starved of fresh ideas. The Circle and the Blue Door is scheduled for release in March 2013 to coincide with their slot as special guest to Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats at their debut sold out London show. "Leaning on a Bear" is the first single to be taken from the said album and features an exclusive non-album b-side. Expect to be hearing a lot more about Purson in the coming year.
