Backing program highlight of the French label Q-Sounds Recording: the second studio album of the soul septet (2021) will
be released as a vinyl LP with a comic poster inlay. Named after the number of the local department of
Seine-Saint-Denis, Principles Of Joy present twelve new songs, led by dynamic vocal duo Rachel Yarabou and Sarah
Ibrahim. Rough, intense and deep, between up and mid-tempo, the formation proves once again why they are considered one
of the most exciting contemporary soul music scene in France. The songs, with the exception of the Adele
reinterpretation "He Won't Go", were written by the label bosses Christelle Amoussou (lyrics / vocal melodies) and
Ludovic Bors (music / arrangements / keyboards). Hot!
