THE PALOMARS hail from Vancouver and were founded five years ago. Singer, songwriter guitarplayer TOM HAMMEL, KEN WILSON
(doublebass) and SANDY MCNAIR (drums) are playing together for more than 20 years. The concept of this record is simple
but very charming: building on their love for 1940s/1950s Blues, Country, Jazz, Western Swing and Rockabilly, their
setlist contains some classics like 'All I Can Do Is Cry', 'Train Kept Rolling' or 'Tattooed Lady' thrown together with
their own compositions like 'Out Of The Past', 'Pinup Girl' oder 'Backyard Hen'. Outstanding is TOM HAMMELs steel guitar
play that makes the sound so unique.
