World Wide We
OY have been dancing across all musical, linguistic and cultural borders for over a decade. So it's only logical that
the title of their new album is "World Wide We": The Berlin-based duo is about blurring the dividing lines and about the
desire for global solidarity. Singer and keyboard player Joy Frempong and drummer and producer Melodydreamer have
already embedded astute analyzes of social and international grievances in optimistic sounds with the four pre-singles
of the album. "World Wide We" now presents insights and perspectives on the issues of identity, structural oppression
and geopolitical injustice across 15 tracks.
