Available again on vinyl: the last two releases (2005) of another legendary Hamburg punk band around JENS RACHUT as a three-sided double vinyl in a 5mm case with an eight-page booklet in LP size with all lyrics, graphics and poster images plus download code on MAJOR LABEL. After the end of DACKELBLUT and a first short and very electronic resurrection as KOMMANDO SONNE-NMILCH, the next band by JENS RACHUT was initially called OMA HANS. The regular duo with ANDREAS NESS (guitar) was completed by PETA DEVLIN (bass and vocals, including DIE BRAUT HAUT INS AUGE, HOO DOO GIRL, COW) and ARMIN NAGEL (drums, KURT). In 2001 the first mini-LP "Bremen-Z" was released, followed a year later by the first full-length studio album "Trapperfieber". On the one hand, OMA HANS continued the fixed trademarks of the previous RACHUT bands (WIPERS guitars!), but also added new styles such as No Wave and New Wave influences, and PETA DEVLIN also came into their own on the lead vocals again and again. Like all previous releases on the regular Hamburg label SCHIFFEN, the complete works of OMA HANS will now be re-released on MAJOR LABEL - with the second full album "Peggy" and the two songs of the "Abmelde" single ("Thank you, Wipers"), both by 2005. The cover appears in the "Boys" - "Girls" original artwork of the LP "Peggy", the 8-page LP booklet not only contains the lyrics, but also further illustrations of poster and flyer motifs. rough!
