Swiss entrepreneur Uli Sigg had a major influence on Chinas shift in economic policy after the Mao-era, which continues until today. After being transferred to China in 1980, he starts exploring the local contemporary art scene, in order to understand his host-country better. In the course of that, he establishes the worlds most significant collection of contemporary Chinese art.
