Krautrock meets the king of Kairo: The Egyptian star singer Mohamed Mounir und the Berlin-based Dissidenten finally brought their long-standing musical friendship onto a collective album. "We Dont Shoot" was recorded live in 2016 during a European tour. Seven songs, five of them originally made popular by Mounir, plus two milestones from the Dissidenten back catalogue. Combined, they perfectly showcase the connection between the Egyptian singer and the German Worldbeat pioneers. Be it with the Dissidenten classic "At The Pyramids", or with Mounirs "Ali Sotak" or the social commentary of "Masakil Shabia".
