Maucher, Charly
Performance
For the JANE fans he was certainly one of the most popular band members. After stints with the Lime Lights, Scarengers
and Coffinbeats, Norbert "Charly" Maucher, born in Hanover in May 1947, was one of the founding members of Krautrock
legend JANE in 1970. With his smoky voice and powerful bass playing, he shaped the band sound until he left 1974
sustainable. Two great albums with HARLIS followed until 1977, after which Maucher left the project. In 1979/1980 JANE
drummer Peter Panka enabled him to record his first and only solo album in the JANE Studio. "Performance" was published
by Teldec in 1980
