File under: Electropop, coldwave A real CLASSIC of its genre, this CD from 2007 was last available from Audioglobe back in 2009!!! Martial Canterel (famous ever since releasing Confusing Outsides on Genetic Music) and Silent Signals (Echo West side-project) come together on this split CD release. Neither Silent Signals nor Martial Canterel need an introduction with minimal electro lovers. Nevertheless, what is quite surprising though is that both projects have their own typical style of minimal music - SS going really dynamic whereas MC is more into 1 take, less dynamic, more 'rough-diamond' style of minimal music - and yet both projects blend really really nicely together on this album. With the mastering in the professional hands of Eric Van Wonterghem (overly known from acts as Monolith, Insekt and Absolute Body Control) this masterpiece has the finishing touch it truly deserves. In true minimal style, built upon analogue sounds, this album yields a feeling of nostalgia towards the eighties New Wave roots!
