Less than two decades ago, Los Fulanos was born, a group of renowned musicians from the Barcelona scene united to claim the most Latino side of black music. Los Fulanos are synonymous with boogaloo. With no other arguments than their love for the genre, Los Fulanos regenerated the Barcelona Latin soul scene recreating classics by Ray Barretto, Joe Bataan or Pete Rodriguez. The sonic gunpowder from their concerts spread out and the recognition within the musical circuit as "authentic innovators of the genre" led them to set out to capture all the live energy in their latest release "Live At Jamboree" (SATKLP 179 / SATKCD 178), and now there is "Barcelona Boogaloo Masters".
